Last week, we were called out on a very special mission.
Behind the wooden doors of an old barn owned by one of our customers lay an incredibly rare Renault Spyder. Our mission was to get it started, remove it from the barn and take it to our secure car storage facility in Northamptonshire.
As you'd guess, the brakes were a somewhat seized by the time we reached this little fella, so we had to remove them before tempting the car out of its slumber. However, once the brakes had been removed, we managed to jump start the Spyder with little trouble and drive it out of the barn. The owner wants it stored, but also an MOT carrying out, a full service and much-needed bout of detailing.
Once the work is completed, the owner will be open to offers on this very rare piece of automotive history.
