Car storage unit 2 build process – steelwork taking shape

On another beautiful, hot Saturday morning and just before what would be another successful England performance at this year's World Cup, our second car storage unit was really starting to take shape.

With the steelwork gradually making its way skywards, the shape and scale of the new unit is clear to see. In fact, we'd go as far to say that this is one of the most exciting stages, because it's when you finally move from ground works to the early stages of the structure that sits on top. It's not hard to imagine the building sitting there in all its glory.

As you can see in the photos and video below, the crane is now in place, which means the steelwork itself should be completed by today. The new car storage unit is designed to hold up to 60 cars (and many more motorbikes), and with just a little bit of imagination, you can picture them in there now, all climate controlled, safe and benefitting from the round-the-clock security.
